National Testing 6/7
This Mathematics product bridges the gap between the end of Year 6 and the beginning of Year 7, up to and including the Year 7 NAPLAN test. Being administered after only a couple of months in high school, the NAPLAN 7 results for many children in Mathematics are often lower than their results in Year 5. |

Being administered after only a couple of months in high school, the NAPLAN 7 results for many children in Mathematics are often lower than their results in Year 5.
This product will take children to a new level of understanding in Mathematics that will prepare them for the type of questions they may face in the significantly harder Year 7 NAPLAN tests. It is a very constructive program which is easy to use and administer. The work is broken down into small easy teaching components.
The box comes with sixteen scientific calculators because many of the understandings taught need calculators and children are allowed to use calculators in NAPLAN 7. It incorporates Working Mathematically activities in each unit that are very reflective of the standard of questions asked in NAPLAN 7. It also comes with a disc of PDF book pages and an interactive scientific calculator emulator, both for whiteboard use.
This box was specifically designed by Jenny Goodman, a selective high school teacher, Chris Longhurst, a lecturer in Mathematics Education at the Catholic University and Lauren O’Brien, a primary school teacher.
This product includes:
* 16 x HP10 scientific calculators
* 1 x blackline master, 44 unit textbook
* 1 x interactive calculator emulator for whiteboard use
* 1 x CD-ROM of PDF book pages for whiteboard use
